The following activities are not permitted on HouseSpin:
- Spam is not allowed on HouseSpin. Spam is email that is sent to you without your permission, and is usually commercial in nature.
- Harassing or abusive messages and threats of physical harm are not allowed. This includes the use of language that is vulgar, racist, hateful, sexual or obscene in nature. Also prohibited are member-to-member threats of physical harm.
- HouseSpin members may not use HouseSpin's messaging system for any purpose which is not related to selling, buying or real estate professional services on HouseSpin.
- Commercial messages are prohibited on the forum message boards.
If you receive messages of these kinds via any method, including, phone, email and on the discussion forums, please forward it to customer support immediately and do not respond to the sender. For messages received through the HouseSpin messaging system, you can use the "Report Abuse" link to report abusive behavior.
Failure to follow HouseSpin's Communications policy may result in a range of actions, including:
- Warning
- Suspension from participation
- Cancelling of listings
- Prosecution in a court of law
- Turning over data to law enforcement agencies
- Suspension of HouseSpin account
