Glossary Buyers Agent A Real Estate Agent that represents the Buyer in a real estate transaction.  MLS Stands for Multiple Listing Service, a comprehensive database that real estate agents use to list and search houses. Often there is proprietary information that only real estate agents have access to,general public cannot view these details even if you got to well established Real Estate company web sites. These "insider" notes are the most treasured tid bits on a property because they are not generally made public.  Real Estate Agent A person that is state licensed and regulated that facilitates real estate transactions for either a seller or a buyer and earns a fee for their services usually at the time of transaction closing. A good agent will always present a new client an agent disclosure document before executing any business for the new client.
